Kids Python Coding Adventure course — programming for children aged 8 to 14
- Course Overview

What this course is about

An adventure in code. A skill for life.

This course introduces young coders to Python through fun projects, creative challenges, and mentor-led sessions that make programming feel like exploration, not instruction.

They don't just learn to code. They build things—games, stories, programs that respond. Things that feel like theirs.

At ITLearnner, we keep learning clear, engaging, and practical. Every session is designed to grow curiosity, build confidence, and make the next session something to look forward to.

Career Relevance

Every great programmer started somewhere. This is that somewhere. The habits of thinking your child builds here follow them through school, university, and beyond.

  • Python Developer — Build apps and platforms at scale
  • Game Developer — The creative coding career
  • Data Analyst — A future pathway with real earning power
  • Automation Engineer — Eliminate the repetitive. Engineer the smart.

Curiosity, logical reasoning, persistence through challenge, creative problem solving, computational confidence

This course plants the seed. What grows from it is entirely up to them — and we cannot wait to see it.

Frequently asked questions

1

Who is this course designed for?

Kids Python Coding Adventure is designed for children aged 8 to 14 who are taking their very first steps in coding. No prior experience whatsoever is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment.

2

My child is quite young (8–9). Is Python really appropriate at that age?

Yes. The course is designed with younger learners in mind. Concepts are introduced through stories, games, and visual results — not abstract theory. Our youngest students consistently surprise themselves with what they build by the end of the course.

3

What will my child create?

Over 6 modules, your child will write Python programs that take input, make decisions, and repeat actions. The final session is a complete project — a game or interactive story entirely designed by your child — which they present to the group.

4

How are the sessions conducted?

Sessions are 1 hour each, live and instructor-led online, over 6 weeks with 12 sessions in total. Sessions are kept short and focused specifically for younger learners.

5

What support is included?

After every session your child receives an EngagePro coding mission — a short, fun challenge that feels like a game, not homework. All missions are reviewed by Ravi Kumar with encouraging, personalised feedback. Monthly ITLearnner Kids Coding Challenge entries are open to all enrolled students.
