Who is this course designed for?
Java Coding Essentials for Kids is designed for children aged 10 to 16 who are curious about how games and apps are made. No prior coding experience is required — we start from the very beginning and build from there.

Why Java? Is it not too complex for children?
Java is one of the world's most widely-used programming languages, and when taught properly it is entirely accessible to children. We use BlueJ — a visual development environment designed for young learners — and teach through games, animations, and mini-projects that make the logic feel natural from the start.

What will my child actually learn and build?
Over 6 modules and 8 weeks, your child will write real Java programs, build a Magic Number Guessing Game, create a Rocket Countdown Simulator using loops, and develop Catch the Star — an interactive Java game of their own design. The course ends with a final project presented at a live showcase.

How are the sessions conducted?
Sessions are 1.5 hours each, live and instructor-led online, with a maximum of 8 learners per group. A parent progress report is sent after every module.
